|
For the use of all social services, the user first searches for information on available services and providers. This is also true in the field of senior services. So, it can be very useful to have a “Comprehensive Gateway Institution” for determining the service based on comprehensive information to the elderly in the early stage of service. However, until now, Korea has not been built an understanding of these institutions with the elderly as the main user. Currently, the elderly are faced with the reality that should be found policy services that are interspersed with based on individual capabilities. In order to solve that this study, presupposes the need and introduction of an “Comprehensive Gateway Institution” for the elderly, investigated the changes and status of various elderly service institutions. Also the study compared each institution and analyzed the function and role. As a result, the study is able to propose the ideal function and system of the “Comprehensive Gateway Institution on early stage” for the elderly. As the elderly user-friendly organization settles in the local community, the elderly can more actively enjoy social services and have a healthy old age, so the establishment and future discussion of the institution should be continued.
